My next step is to start learning about direct X. This SDK is an insane collection of very powerful tools that allow you to make amazing graphics and sound. I recently purchased Windows Programming for Dummys. I actually have a Direct X book but that thing is huge and bulky (seeing as that I'm doing most of my programming on the run these days) and not to mention difficult to fallow. I tried last year to learn from it and i couldn't get even their simplest programs to compile due to the problems that i had with the ~20 different #include files that were needed. Hopefully things will go better with this system this time and I'll be able to develop something!
Also next time i update there will be a list of my favorite compilers and their strengths and weaknesses!

For what to come next?
Recently i had hit a rut in my programming carreer which led me to what i'm currently doing now. I am developing a webpage for a rather natorious fellow who has gained a small amount of fame due to his devious acts. I do enjoy the accessability that the internet provides and i think i was to do something that is interesting with java applets or possibly a flash game. The only problem that i experiance is that i'm a horrible artist and animator. I can write the code but i can't make it look pretty to the user. By the way i'm completely open to suggestions if there is anything that isn't out there that you would like to have out there then please drop me an e-mail and we'll discuss making it. Another problem that i have is coming up with ideas that i like enough to develope. Well if there is any ideas out there or if anyone wants to collaberate on anything just drop me an e-mail at DemonintheRough@gmail.com!

This is the beginning!
This is the beginning of a beautiful friend ship! This blog is here for C/C++, JAVA, VB, HTML and Python programmers around the world! I need the drive and determination to start really completing projects and i hope that sharing with the world what I'm doing will be a great way to get me motivated and help me get to know the programming community better! Right now I'm actually designing a website using Front page and I really want to start designing a MMO in 2D! Oh yeah! Please note that all projects (save for those that are commercial projects) will be released as open source so you guys can do with it what ever you want! Knowledge should be shared and not hoarded! Oh maybe a little background on me would be nice.
I am 21 years old and i live in the US. I have completed 2 years of my bachelors degree and i had to drop out for a year because of my financial situation. Although i wouldn't change anything if i had the chance. I recently had a beautiful daughter who is now 2 1/2 months old and is the light of my life. During my college education i had the opportunity to expand my knowledge into Java and C++. I started programing when i was 14 during my freshman year in high school which eventually turned into a life long devotion. Some of my favorite things to think about are neural networks, graph theory, and memory modification and optimization. I know it sounds weird but hopefully you'll understand why as i start showing some results and putting some programs out there!
